Protect your ears! Paris Hilton is releasing new music on July 8th.

Paris Come Alive cover

Obviously her career as a DJ didn’t kick off because Paris Hilton has decided to get back to working on her singing career… if that’s what you want to call it. Recently it was reported that she had been busy filming two new music videos for two of her yet to be released song. Today we get our first look at the cover artwork for one of those songs, a single that’s been titled “Come Alive.”

Even though Paris may not have enjoyed much success with her music career, she is moving forward unfazed with the release of new music because… well, I honestly don’t know why.

“ET has your exclusive first look at the heiress’ new song ahead of its July 8th release. “Come Alive” is Hilton’s second single as a Young Money Cash Money Billionaires artist. Her YMCMB debut, “Good Time,” featured labelmate Lil Wayne. “Come Alive” was written by Hilton and Mr. Beats with a decidedly summer vibe, skewing more towards pop than her last dance-heavy single. The track was inspired by the unmistakable feeling of falling in love and the video, also out July 8th, is set in an ethereal, fantasy land … Hilton may be a rookie when it comes to the YMCMB team, which also includes Nicki Minaj, Drake, Tyga and more, but this ain’t her first rodeo in the music biz. Back in 2006, Hilton’s debut album Paris, released on Warner Bros. Records, peaked at No. 6 on the Billboard 200 albums chart. Her very first single, “Stars Are Blind,” was a certifiable hit, peaking at No. 18 on the Billboard Hot 100 and at No. 1 on the Dance Music/Club Play Singles chart.”  reports ET.

I won’t lie, I’m curious to hear the new track even if it just for a good laugh. I was given her debut album Paris as a present back in 2006. It was pure cheese. That year I bought copies of it for all my friend’s birthdays. Mainly because it made a great joke present and the two disc edition had been swiftly marked down to $9.95.

“Screwed” was my favourite track on the album, I never did understand why she didn’t release that a single. So much better than “Stars Are Blind.”
