While everyone is still getting over the Stereosonic 2014 line-up announcement, for the not-so-much dance music fans, August 11th is going to be a pretty exciting day. After what many described as an epic kick-ass debut on Easter weekend last year, The Blurst Of Times Festival is set to return for 2014.
Presented by Sailor Jerry, The Music and FasterLouder, the live music festival will see 28 bands performing over three venues, The Brightside, The Brightside Carpark and The Zoo on October 18. Considering last year saw acts such as Violent Soho, Velociraptor, Gung Ho, Major Leagues, The Cairos, and numerous other awesome bands take part in the festival, it’s to be expected that the 2014 line-up will be all kinds epic!!!
Mitch Exton from The Fans Group who are co-organising this year’s festival alongside Destroy All Lines, had this say to say, “ultimately, we’ve just tried to put together the festival that we ourselves would want to attend, and I reckon we’ve nailed it. If only we weren’t so easily impressed.”
My mind is already pondering with who they might have on the bill, but I guess we’ll have to wait until the full line-up is announced on August 11th when tickets also go on sale.
The suspense is killing me.
Are you excited? Who do you think might be performing this year?
