Lionsgate and Millennium Films have revealed the first Leatherface poster, the next instalment in the Texas Chainsaw Massacre franchise. Leatherface will work as a prequel to The Texas Chainsaw Massacre which will explore the origins of the horror icon in the 1970s.
Sam Strike will play a teenage version of Leatherface a.k.a Jackson Sawyer as he resides in a mental institution until he teams up with a pack of fellow patients who break out and find themselves on the run from the authorities and being hunted down by Texas Ranger Hal Hartman played by Stephen Dorff. Sounds fun.
This film makers the 8th entry to the franchise which includes Tobe Hooper’s original, three sequels, a remake, a prequel to the remake and a modern-day direct sequel. The poster looks damn cool, however I think I’ll wait for the trailer before I jump to any conclusions.
