Think of lazy summer Sundays, bucket hats and beer and you have the perfect background soundtrack to keep your mates alive. Lime Cordiale’s new EP Road To Paradise could possibly be the beautiful love child of Sydney band Sticky Fingers and Ball Park Music with a twist on pop reggae at its finest.
Lime Cordiale’s music is very smooth yet captivating like an iced cold glass of water on a hot day. It’s relaxing yet gives you a kick so you continue to be seduced by the sound but not enough that it’s too intense and becomes annoying. Perfect head bobbing music that paints a picture of outback field festivals sipping cheap wine and dancing like a tool with your closest mates.
Spiraling through 2015 with single releases and travelling the country, these boys have built an army of fans that have made them one of the biggest live acts that everyone needs to hear about. Not only is their album art always psychedelically sweet but Lime Cordiale are a couple of spunky men that could play me Nickelback and id still listen.
If I still haven’t convinced you to give these guys a listen jump across to their soundcloud and check out Not That Easy from their new EP Road To Paradise and I’m sure they will have you hooked!
Or better yet check Lime Cordiale out on their upcoming tour of Australia which kicked off on the 26th of this month in NSW and continues until New Years Eve!
Grab a beer, get your mates and set the mood Lime Cordiale style.
